At present, boron nitride has been widely used in the determinant bottle-making machine. The use of boron nitride lubricating release agent can not only improve the yield of bottle making, but also reduce the consumption of lubricating release agent and purify the production environment. Boron nitride release agent can also be used in flat glass processing, which can greatly improve the working environment and improve product efficiency. Especially for curved glass processing, the effect is more significant.
In addition, due to boron nitride can resist neutron radiation of nuclear reactors, decomposition temperature up to 2500℃ in inert atmosphere, excellent chemical stability under extreme conditions, so boron nitride release agent is also widely used in metal casting, melting and welding, as follows:
Boron nitride can be made into boron nitride separation rings for horizontal continuous casting of steel. Hexagonal boron nitride is very stable to carbon and carbon monoxide at 1800 ℃, and is not corroded by molten glass, silicon, boron, non-oxide slag, and molten salt (borax, cryolite) in steel.
Boron nitride can be made into a composite shell for titanium casting. The chemical stability of titanium metal is poor. When the forging is violently deformed at high temperature, the fresh surface generated by the metal flow is very prone to sticking to the die, causing the forging and the die to be scrapped at the same time. The boron nitride mold release agent composite shell is coated on the mold surface to avoid direct contact between the titanium metal and the mold.
Boron nitride can also be used in welding and furnace brazing processes, which can protect the surface of the workpiece from damage due to the splash of welding slag, and can also play a protective role in the process of metal welding.
