Si3N4 Ceramic Ball
Si3N4 ceramic balls are precision ceramics sintered at high temperature in a non-oxidizing atmosphere. They have high strength, high wear resistance, high temperature resistance, corrosion resistance, acid and alkali resistance, can be used in seawater for a long time, and have good electrical and magnetic insulation properties. At 800°C, the strength and hardness remain almost unchanged. Its density is 3.20g/cm³, which is almost 1/3 the weight of bearing steel. It has low centrifugal force during rotation and can achieve high-speed operation. It also has self-lubricating properties and can be used in environments with high pollution without lubricating media. It has become the preferred ball for ceramic bearings and hybrid ceramic ball bearings.
